This is the final itinerary for the Patriot Guard Riders Mission to Honor Clifford "Clif" Bland Sr. (70) US Coast Guard / Police December 20, 2017 Wednesday Born: January 19, 1947 Died: December 9, 2017 His family has requested that the PGR be present at his services. The Mission is a 'go' and all contacts have been made. Clif proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard during which time he received the National Defense Service Medal and Presidential Letter and Commendation. After serving in the Coast Guard, Clif went on to be a police officer and then worked over 25 years at General Motors. He knew and believed in the importance of education earning his Bachelor of Arts degree from North Western State University on May 2, 1980 at the age of 33. Services: 2:00 pm, December 20, 2017, at Yates Cemetery . FM 1998 Marshall, TX 75672 ( in Scottsville ) under the direction of Meadow Brook Funeral Home , Marshall Staging: Yates Cemetery from 12:30 pm to 1:00 pm with a riders meeting at 1:00 pm. FLAG LINE ONLY All new members are requested to sign a PGR Release of Liability prior to Flag Line. Please remain flexible as to the requirements of the mission (SEMPER GUMBY).
