The Mission is a 'go' and all contacts have been made. Rickey is survived by wife Michelle. Rickey joined the US MARINE CORPS in August 6, 1969. While in the service Rickey received the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal. He received an honorable discharge as Private (E-1) on August 5,1971. This is the final itinerary for the Patriot Guard Riders Mission to Honor JIMMIE HARRELL (71) UNITED STATES MARINE CPRPS DECEMBER 27, 2017 WEDNESDAY Born: September 03,1946 Died: December 21, 2017 His family has requested that the PGR be present at his services. The Mission is a 'go' and all contacts have been made. He was born in Modesto, California. He was a son, brother, husband, father, grandpa, great-grandpa, and our rock. He joined the United States Marine Corps on February 14, 1966 and served his country earning two purple hearts. Honorably discharged on December 13, 1968, he made many folks proud. He was a milker, a turkey wrangler and a hard-working man with his hands. He married Lavada Harrell on December 7, 1972 in Oakdale, California, where they proceeded to lay down the foundation of a loving home that eventually moved to Texas. Services: 2:00 PM, December 27, 2017, at MT. Tabor Cemetery. Farm Market road 1499 Paris, Texas. Graveside services under the direction of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home. Flag line only. Staging: Mt.
