His family has requested that the PGR be present at his services. The Mission is a 'go' and all contacts have been made.


Mr. William Leon “Dub” Murrell, 70, of Pittsburg was born December 28, 1947 in Lecompte, Louisiana to John R. and Alice Lemoine Murrell and passed away on January 12, 2018 in Tyler, Texas.
He was retired from Pilgrim’s Pride, served in the Army, and a was a member of the Pentecostal church.
He is survived by his wife, Conni Miller Murrell; children, Terry and Amanda Murrell of Pittsburg, Shannan Murrell of Pittsburg, Jaison Terrell of Pittsburg, and Jairod Terrell of Latch; 9 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; siblings, John and Margaret Murrell of Burnet, and Linda Gail Knight of Spring.
He is preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Alyssa Collins; sister, Brenda Darlene Sims; and brother-in-law, James Knight.

Services: 2:00pm. Viewing 1-2:00pm at Eerman Smith Funeral Home 315 Rusk St. Pittsburg, Tx. Saturday Jan.13, 2018

Staging: Eerman Smith Funeral Home from 12:00 to 12:30 with a Riders meeting at 12:30
Directions to the cemetery will be given by the Ride Captain.
